Our client is a leader in the financial and b2b publishing industry. We are seeking a seasoned Publisher to join this well known publishing company in New York City.
We are conducting a search for
a Publisher for its niche publishing division. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-10 years trade / b2b publishing experience. The candidate must have experience managing a suite of titles, be self-motivated, innovative and detail-oriented. Experience with paid circulation is required. Strong P&L mangement and operations experience a must. Knowledge of financial and business markets a plus.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
- Minimum 5+ years publishing experience
- Experience managing paid circulation titles
- Ability to think on your feet, must be self motivated, creative and detail oriented.
- Extensive knowledge of the publishing industry
- Experience managing P&L across multiple titles
- Excellent operations experience
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- BA/BS degree required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal skills essential.
