SENIOR DIGITAL PLANNER (Los Angeles, CA)
U.S. International Media's digital division is looking for a Senior Digital Planner in our West Hollywood and New York City offices. All candidates must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position is responsible for working with clients in the creation of strategic digital plans. The Senior Planner will research, plan, execute, analyze and optimize online campaigns for a diverse variety of clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a highly skilled communicator with good presentations skills and a team player. This position reports to the EVP, Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the capacity of Senior Planner, he/she will:
- Be responsible for exceeding the expectations of our digital clients in the development, execution and reporting of their campaigns.
- Work in conjunction with agency Account Executives and traditional media planning team to present integrated, well-research and clever media plans.
- Be responsible for the coordination and execution of campaigns as well as the client reporting and optimization of those campaigns.
- Be responsible for seeking out digital solutions, meeting with technology vendors and sharing expertise and knowledge with the team.
- Participate in client presentations, planning meeting and in the preparation and presentation for New Business.
- Take ownership for communicating issues, client requests, any change in goals, placements and measurement of campaigns with the team.
- Generate client decks and post mortems.
- Be responsible for on-time delivery of presentations and proposals.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
In the capacity of Senior Planner, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Research, develop, and present savvy digital solutions in coordination with EVP, AEs and traditional media planning group to clients.
- Prepare documentation for ad operations and finance for accurate accounting of costs.
- Work with Ad Operations in facilitating placement of tags, creative delivery and execution of campaigns.
- Manage, optimize and report on active campaigns.
- Responsible for communicating digital technology and developed campaign strategies to clients.
- Ongoing development of expertise in all facets of digital advancement, attend conferences/webinars/vendor presentations.
- Assist team and EVP as needed on special projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be proficient with digital research such as ComScore, @Plan, Adrelevance, Compete, web analytics.
- Must be proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, adserving such as MediaPlex, Atlas or DoubleClick.
- Required experience in Display, SEM/SEO, Social and Mobile applications and measurement.
- Must be self motivated, detail oriented, a team player who is able to multi-task and an excellent communicator.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- PRIOR DIGITAL PLANNING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

- Experience in Traditional Media, Automotive & QSRs is a PLUS.
